PROFILE

Aleph Zero Records is the first psybient label from Israel. Label was created by Yaniv Shulman and Shahar Bar-Itzhak. Yaniv is a member of Shulman project (with Omri Harpaz), which is one of the best psy-chillout acts in the world. Shahar is a person related with dance and chillout music for over decade, he's a well-known DJ and a journalist who's writing about music in many of magazines. Label name - "Aleph Zero" - means "the smallest infinite integer".

REVIEW

If Ultimae is absolutely the best psybient label in the world, then Aleph Zero is for sure the second best. Though this won't be a lie when we say that Aleph Zero is the best label aiming for psychedelic chillout, because Ultimae is concentrating on something different - more on trance-ambient than on pure psychedelic chillout... Every album released by Aleph Zero may be called as something unique and from these CDs the greatest seems to be the Shulman albums which from the most incredible is "Endless Rhythms Of The Beatless Heart". It's a delight when you're going deeper and more deeper in psychedelic and eclectic sounds and when you discover their pictures of sublime feelings, musical visions by Aleph Zero. This label discography is a collection of excellent and well-thought-out music. And one more thing - Aleph Zero releases have got a very beautiful covers.
