Backroom Beats Recordings is a sublabel of the famous British Twisted Records. There isn't the "first" release by this label, because it was founded after the release of the "Backroom Beats" compilation on Twisted (#TWSCD12).

REVIEW

In the sound of Backroom Beats we have a cross section of music genres not seen very well on the psybient scene. They're very different, though not very psychedelic. Label has released only six CDs, but we can say even seven while the first chapter of the "Backroom Beats" was released on Twisted. Besides we have five albums done by different artists from which the most known seems to be Toires, however even him isn't an active member of the forum of psychedelic music. "Sanati" album by this act is representing an arabic sounds, which are in the opposite compared with the "main" Backroom Beats program. Because on the other albums released by this label we can hear sounds of jazz, swing, disco and lounge embraced in electronica. Backroom Beats released are really valuable to check them out.
