Perfect Stranger is a solo act by Israeli artist Yuli Fersthat. "Changed" is the second album of Perfect Stranger. First one, titled "Learning = Change", was released in 2006 in Danish Iboga Records, where also now we have released "Changed". As the name of the album indicate, we will hear "changed" - other artists' tracks remixed by Yuli or Yuli's tracks remixed by other musicians. Except Perfect Stranger, Fersthat is also the author of BLT and Dozer projects (however, Dozer isn't here) - we have on this CD also acts like: Antix (brothers Barton Strom and Hayden Strom from New Zeland), Atmos (producing in Sweden, Pole Tomasz Balicki), Elegant Universe (Miki Litvak and Amir Ardon from Israel), Flowjob (Joakim Hjorne and Mads Tinggaard from Denmark), Morax (Michael Reznik), Motion Drive (Philip Guillaume), Vibrasphere (Rickard Berglof and Robert Elster from Sweden) and Israeli Eitan Reiter. So the real compilation we have here. And because of Antix, Atmos and Vibrasphere - expectations from this CD were really big, also Perfect Stranger is not bad at all.

However, I was a bit disappointed by this album. From start to end we have the sounds, that will be good on dancefloor, but for my taste - level of some of these compositions is too close to typical club sound, there is also too many house influences in these tracks. The biggest embarrassment here is a new edition of "KNS". It's uncreative and very clubby. I completely don't like a motive when we hear an entrance of a male, lower voice, with nearly at the same time calm of the other sounds - and these sounds return after one second. Next. On this CD we have three remixes of "Ode Ao Sol". Unfortunately, "Eitan Reiter Remix" and "Elegant Universe Remix" are similiar versions and could be rated in a group of the worst tracks. But interesting is the edition done by Vibrasphere, probably the best progressive project on the scene right now. Swedish have prepared as the main motive a melody simply in that kind, that they are famous and adorated for: it's short, very dynamic and has nicely twisted ends - in the effect this melody absorb like goa melodies. Vibrasphere remix is, in my opinion, one of the four very good tracks contained on "Changed". Others are: "Free As We Are (Perfect Stranger's Re-edit)", "Truth (Motion Drive Remix)", "Bliss (Flowjob Remix)" - their denominator is that they are diversify and have an energy, so they not boring as fast as the other ones... In total, "Changed" is a good CD only on dancefloor for people who likes clubby influences.
